The best way to do that is to read the Word, He wrote to you and me. Here is what His Word says about you and your life.

Psalms 28:7 “The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him”

This verse in my life- The Lord is my strength and my protector when my heart trusts in Him. He will always help me. The reason He is so faithful to protect His children (you and me) is so He is praised and glorified! THAT’S WHY YOU ARE MADE. I’ve heard before that everytime we come to God with our sin and shame.. We are never condemned yet it always ends with us PRAISING HIM! When we see God for who He is, we praise and worship Him by default. He is God.

Isaiah 57:12 “I will declare your righteousness and your works, For they will not profit you.”

This verse in my life- Our good works and kindness are worthless through our own effort. When you come to Jesus Christ, Your sin is covered by His righteousness. Only when you humble yourself and accept God’s gift of salvation. It would be like you deserving a life sentence and Jesus’ blood not only washes away your sin but sees you now covered in the righteousness of Him. You are no longer dead to sin but alive with Christ.

Romans 3:23 “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

This verse in my life- There isn’t less bad or awful in the world of sinners. There’s sinners. We all are in need to God’s grace. I recommend downloading the Bible app on your phone right now and reading the book of Ephesians, Philippians, or the Gospels(the life of Christ..Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John). I know there’s big words that haven’t been used in a very long time, but God tells us in Matthew 7:7-8 whoever seeks shall find. Seek to know Jesus and understand His Word. He will be your help, remember? Psalms 28:7

Romans 10:9-10 “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

This verse in my life- THIS IS THE BEST PART. What this is saying is there is hope! Sometimes when i have a rough day, where i ask God to forgive my angry heart, my mean attitude, my quick tongue, and my overall failures… for a moment i think of you. Stranger and Loved. Have you felt Hopeless? Because sometimes when i have a hard day, where i let my husband or my kids down. I think about you and Jesus. First, I praise the Lord because i’m so grateful i know there is hope. I know that my sin isn’t the end of the story. I’m not going to die and be buried with my sin. I know it’s not up to me to strive perfection. God did it on the cross. I know that my sin is forgiven and i’m not covered in sin but in Jesus’ blood and righteousness and with that…All the hope in the world. Second, my heart breaks for you. Not because you are worse than me. Because you are lost. The Word says “All we like sheep have gone astray and turned to our own way” You are hopeless. I know that because we are all hopeless before we find Jesus. Only He is the way, the truth, and the life. My heart breaks for anyone that feels the burden of their failures and bad days…And doesn’t know Jesus as their Savior, their safety, peace, and rest. You don’t know how to finally hand your burden to Jesus. It’s not a warm thought or fuzzy feeling to know Jesus Christ as your Savior. It’s real, He’s real. When you close your eyes and bow your head, you can talk to the Creator of the world. And through prayer and a humble heart, give it all to Jesus.

Here is what i wish to tell each of the people receiving My Step Cards… There is hope in this life. There is a real Creator. You were made for a purpose, You were loved before you were born, and you were loved during and after each one of your mistakes. God sent His perfect Son to be the sacrifice for us. Jesus Christ came to earth, lived a perfect life, and died on a cross while being ridiculed and attacked. He died as a lamb for you. Then 3 days later, He rose from the dead! He defeated Satan and your sin, He defeated death and sorrow. And when He went back to live in Heaven with God, He left His Holy Spirit to be with you and me to guide us and be our help. He also gave us His unchanging, true, and everlasting Word. The Bible is the love story true, timeless, and tried. It is specifically for you. The truth that there is a God who loves you, is mind blowing. I know. I will be spending the rest of my life on earth seeking to walk closer with Jesus Christ, studying His Word, and covered in His beautiful Grace and Mercy. I pray you know Jesus the way i’m slowly seeing Him myself, it is better than anything this world has to give.
