Resources for Daily Growth
A little introduction to what you can find here. It can be overwhelming to differentiate between outside sources that are based completely on the Word of God or not. There are countless pastors, authors, and musicians all trying to share what they believe of the Bible and Jesus Christ. God calls us to be discerning and careful about the people we allow to influence us. Below you will find resources we have found helpful, links to books to buy or just podcasts and things to tune into during your day-to-day. Hope you find this encouraging and helpful regardless where you are in your walk with Christ.
Audio Sermons and Podcasts
Timothy Keller has been deeply impactful for us here at My Step! His teaching has covered this season of life with truth and challenged the depth of our faith. God has used Keller’s teaching to convict my soul and stir my affection for Jesus in life changing ways. In addition, God has given John Piper determination to stand on His Word fiercely. His teaching inspires the reading and love of God’s Word for me and many others. The Bible Project has been enormously helpful in taking a look at a book of the Bible before and during the study of it. It is so useful for teaching others and gaining knowledge on your own. Lastly, The Village and The Gospel Coalition has provided resources, sermons, articles that have been shaping, challenging and fundamental for my growth and understanding. Thank God for the teams and teachers that diligently work to provide gospel resources for all.

Worship
Worship music reorients our hearts to the character of God in a special way. I grew up singing hymns in church but that is where my worship would stay, only within the church. Though it is tempting to be ashamed of this, God allowed this area to be a huge testimony of His protection and grace. People often try to conform Jesus to their definition of comfortable. However, God is self defining and never changing. We don’t get to create our own versions of Him. He’s called us to transformation, to new life. I have seen this and been reminded of it so often through worship music. It is a daily decision. Praise God, He is merciful and good.
